Aprilia’s FV2 concept, looking to the future

Aprilia’s FV2 concept bike, which has been making the expo rounds, is here to showcase three things: first and foremost, the company’s home-cooked 1200cc, 90-degree v-twin engine, which we’ll probably be seeing in the RSV and Tuono in the next couple of years.

The dash integrates a nav system and a bunch of downloadable performance telemetry data, which you can send to a phone or PC, and it’s set up so you can easily upload new engine mappings from the Web in a similar way. The final purpose of the FV2 concept is to show us the direction Aprilia wants to take its styling in and to that I’d say both groundbreaking and state-of-the-art!

Pixar’s Wall-E sets to impress!

A brand new trailer of Pixar’s upcoming animation film has just surfaced this week on the internet and it’s looking to be nothing short of awe-inspiring. With the new trailer we get a slightly better insight into the films story and a look at Wall-E’s new lovable robot friend. Wall-E is in cinemas on September 11th 2008.

2008.. Year of the Playstation 3

Analysts are predicting that it’s going to be a big year for our friends at Sony. After nothing but a bumpy start for the PS3, things look as though they are on the turn around. The high price point, confusing HD format war and small game library were all factors in the sluggish start for Sony.

However, now that all of these hurdles have been overcome, things are looking in Sony’s favor and it’s set to be a very strong year for the PS3. Particularly now that Bluray has won the HD format for the future. Movie studios, retailers and consumers have all but ditched the HD DVD format and it won’t be long untill it has completely died out.

Most anticipated movies of 2008

It’s time to look ahead to this years movie releases. There are many great films on their way this year, and I thought it would be good to put together a list of some of the most anticipated movies for 2008.

Warhawk on Playstation 3

If you own a Playstation 3, you owe it to yourself to grab a copy of Warhawk. Icognito’s mutiplayer awesomeness! The game is based off the original Warhawk which debuted in 1995 on the Playstation 1. Warhawk is only multiplayer, which means you need your internet to be connected to your PS3, otherwise you’ll just be playing a localy networked game. Though the game was initially to have both single-player and multiplayer modes, the single-player was scrapped because developers decided that it was vastly inferior to the game’s multiplayer component
