It will be the first Star Wars film to be released to theaters since 2005’s Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and will be the first animated Star Wars feature film in theaters.
The film’s aim is to introduce everyone to the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which will begin airing after the films release in Fall 2008. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is slated for worldwide release on August 15, 2008, except for Aussies who will get to see the film a whole one day earlier on August 14. Now thats gotta really piss off those diehard Fanboys.. haha
